The U.S. and the UK led an attack on Houthi military sites in Yemen. This after what they say was months of aggression from the Iran-backed group. The U.S. says earlier in the week the Houthis launched 20 drones and several missiles targeting its ships in the Red Sea. The attacks were thwarted by U.S. and UK forces operating in the region. The rebel group continued its assault saying they were in support of the Palestinians. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

I'm glad America and the UK is taking drastic measures to secure my Yu-Gi-Oh cards being shipped to me.

Imagine being thr Houthis knowing the US notified Iran to remove their personnel from specific areas and the Iranians complied.

It’s just like the General said, “This is not part of the Israel-Hamas conflict, this is a malign behaviour by a group that’s disrupting international commercial shipping”.

they're just asking to be invaded if they keep attacking our shipping routes thinking that there will be no consequences

We need congressional approval to pass anything that materially benefits the lives of US citizens. Yet the government always seems to conveniently sidestep congress when it comes to funding and engaging in foreign wars with taxpayer money...

The Houthi army's actions cost 50% more to transport cargo ships across the Red Sea

I think that the Houthis have completely closed Bab al-Mandab to commercial ships, as they have the ability to disrupt international navigation that passes through the Red Sea.

Hypocrisy of the US. US should use that money to improve their healthcare and education.

They attacked us so many times, we were Forced to respond. I cannot believe it took us so long to do it, but it is what it is now. I hope they learn and stop attacking these ships and sending missiles/drones attacks. I feel they will not listen though, which will wake up the real beast (Military Industrial Complex gets the green light) and we will actually have to do something. What a crazy time we live in.

Well US has to protect international shipping. If the huthies close the Red sea then the shipping will have to go around the African continent and add time and money for goods

The rest of the world see this for what it is.
I don't remember any fancy missile fired when the Saudi where blockading and starving Yemen.
Remember that?
Freedom of navigation for some but no others.
And you can do whatever you want if you're an American 'ally'.
