Thank you for this Erin, and keep up the good work REI channel. Us outdoorsy types might be more susceptible to the negative effects of being locked in because we've built up a nature dependency. Lately I haven't been able to make it out. I'm sure finishing up the semester with exams, papers, and deadlines on top of the stress of a pandemic has something to do with it. With the semester just having finished, I am feeling a lot of gratitude for the woods near by with a lake, turkeys, and the occasional deer.

I remember in Germany as soon as summer hit mobs of people heading out doors. From what I see around here people have been taking advantage of this time to get out too. Hopefully this'll generate more interest in the outdoors and people leaning toward conservation efforts. I can take it for granted sometimes but I sure miss it when I can't get out into the green for a while. To echo the sentiment of the video, you're not alone and we'll get through this together.

Being outside is definitely my happy place. I'm extremely thankful to live very close to the ocean and am able to walk the beach three mornings a week. It's amazing how wonderful it makes me feel, especially during this difficult time. Very blessed.

I started writing this comment several times, had to stop, step away, and then return. Just to say, honestly, that I am so grateful for this episode, Erin and REI, and that we definitely need more of this kind of gratitude-based content.
