Good to know! I was thinking about buying a UV camera for my kids to do their own sunscreen because they can see where they've gotten. Just a practice tool for them but some people saying how bad some sun screen is after doing this test is ridiculous 😂

Nah dude, it may not tell you how many micrometers of sunscreen you have on your skin but you can clearly see when it is not absorbed by the skin and the black spot disappears, that means you have no protection anymore. You may argue about the frequency response from the camera, it may not see uv lower than 350nm so that may be absobed, but i'd say in that case that sunscreen it's made for the whole uv spectrum right? So when it wears off on one side it wears off in the other too... So either you're wrong or your explanation suck

OF COURSE the purpose is quantitative! Every sunscreen has already been tested for a spf rating.

What are you smoking?

You can have a qualitative test to show 100% full light blocked, but have a 1% quantitative application and adhesion. Spf 1000 would mean nothing if it's still in the bottle and not on your skin.

Who needs a qualitative test when it's already written on the bottle? We need to know if it's ACTUALLY applied and still there after some time and activity.

I don't know how I even ended up stumbling onto this video... I'm glad that your nonsense hasn't reached very far.
