Just a tip! You don't need to pick the shanty when you want to open up the stairs, if you stand close enough to it you'll automatically play that shanty when you start playing music!

I recently became PL and reapers starts to slow down on levelling so much so that order of souls is actually far more quicker.
I was going for level 50 in reapers but progress became so slow compared to other alliances

PL now: Sell 2 treasure with emmisary flag raised

keep in mind that sea of thieves also has about 35-45% active player who own the game so the existing player base is likely to be the more senior players often

3% getting the achievement doesn’t really mean anything when this game is on game pass. If it’s essentially free to someone they can try it without even really being interested in it. Then quitting when seeing that the game isn’t for them. My guess is that 3% is a lot higher when you look at the concurrent player base and not total all time player base

You dont have to select that shanty for it to play, also if you play it outside of the tavern its a different song

Another benefit to being PL after Season 8 - the Athena's Fortune emissary works with Hourglass PVP if you're doing Guardians Of Fortune. You make way more money for Hourglass turn-ins (you earn Grade 3 emissary for winning the fight) and the money counts towards Athena's Fortune rank

Order of souls is actually pretty easy to level up. Just do ashen bounty hunter. Make alot of them, good reputation. :)
