wow...i am so amazed by your teaching. i always hated accounts because my teacher taught us everything all jumbled up and i never knew they were called those 3 things. i always used to be lost and confused in class that's why i failed. i have to do up a balance sheet and a 3 year cash projectors for my business and send it for my bank and i didn't know where to start. it has been 1 week now, then suddenly i stumbled across your video. i am still shocked by your teaching because you have explained it so perfect that its all cleared in my head....thank you so very very much. i really love your teaching and i appreciated it alot. which you were my teacher back then...lol...much love from Trinidad and Tobago.

Answer for: what is double entry bookeeping?

Double-entry bookkeeping means,  every entry to an account requires a corresponding and opposite entry to a different account. For Example, recording rent paid of Rs. 500 would require making two entries: a debit of Rs. 500 to an account called "Rent" and a credit entry to an account called "Cash"

Rent paid Rs. 500 Entry for this transaction is 
Rent a/c      Dr     500
    To   Cash a/c   500

This is one of the best lectures I've ever listened in my 3 years after getting into commerce stream. I didn't understand any of those basics in my 11th and 12th and had to by heart everything back then due to poor lecturers .
