I learned a cool trick!

Repeating Command Block:
execute as @e[type=block_display,tag=push] at @s align y run tp @s ^ ^ ^-0.1 facing entity @p[distance=..1]

Summon Block Display with Shulker:
summon minecraft:block_display ~ ~-0.5 ~ {Tags:["push"],block_state:{Name:"minecraft:grass_block"},transformation:{left_rotation:[0f,0f,0f,1f],right_rotation:[0f,0f,0f,1f],translation:[-0.5f,0f,-0.5f],scale:[1f,1f,1f]},Passengers:[{id:"minecraft:shulker",Tags:["push"],NoGravity:1b,Silent:1b,Invulnerable:1b,DeathLootTable:"-1",PersistenceRequired:1b,NoAI:1b,AttachFace:0b,active_effects:[{id:"minecraft:invisibility",amplifier:1,duration:1000000,show_particles:0b}]}]}
