Applying color correction to multiple clips in Adobe Premiere

Clicks have been removed in future videos :)

Rather than losing global control of your clips by adding Lumetri to each instance - find the master clip and do all your basic control there:
Apply LUT
Correct levels etc

For a slower explanation go here:

Then this will form the base of your grade throughout.

I prefer it to nesting, not least it is less prone to crashing, but also in music videos you can still see the timing of your edits without clicking into a nested sequence.

No one way is correct - pick the way that suits you!

You're the first hit in Google when looking for better ways to make colour adjustments. And rightly so. Very useful and succinct video. Thank you!

so many kids saying ''this saved my life'' in their idol's music videos. NOW THIS ACTUALLY SAVED MY LIFE

I actually really dig the Adjustment layer. It worked best for me cause I have a ton of different video clips, not just one master clip. I don't see any other way to do it than with Adjust. layer. THANKS!

to get to the master clip all you have to do is go to effect controls and go to the other tab (the master* tab instead of the individual highlighted clip tab)

This is just the video I wanted to see! Awesome. I'm glad I can apply the effect to the master clip. Thanks a lot. For the one who say it's too fast, go to the settings and slow it down :DD

This was incredibly helpful, thank you! I like how you showed all those different ways and the pro/cons, with the last one being exactly what I was looking for. Saving this video for future reference.

A little fast, but excellent explanation for a particular situation when multiple pieces of the same clip need to be colour corrected

Thank you so much, it took me 15 minutes to find your video. And your video was exactly what I was looking for, because when you have 5 cut up master clips is just isn't handy to use adjustment layers. This way I can work so much quicker and without error!

Excellent!. Loved the master clip technique. Will save me lots of time without constantly toggling between color and edit. Thank You!

One thing you continually have to do is apply proper levels and compression to your audio recordings, so that you don't have the one video on YouTube that is half the loudness of others...

amazing but what if you have 100 sources ? and not one ? basicaly I dont get you apply instant telemetry on 1st source but it is NOT apllied to boat source it just measured up thx to adjustment. .... so ju adjust the source before it gets cutted on the timeline that is fine but what if you have 100 sources ?

Best tutorial out there by far! Thanks for sharing.... sad to come from Davinci Resolve and see how poor color correction/grading handling is on PR Pro... are you aware of any PR Pro > Davinci round trip workflow so we can get the color bit done in davinci?

That’s nice, I got one problem in this if you can help me,

If I coloured source/ master of clip no 001 in sequence1
And if I have same clip no 001 in sequence 2

Then color of master clip 001 is not reflected in sequence 2

Even if I copy content of sequence2 in sequence 1

I mean
Once if we Color the master in one sequence
We have to do it again for another sequence

So is there any solution for it?

yes, but that looks like it will only work if you have only one clip (cutted into pieces). if you have 2 clips on the same layer/track you have to do the same on the second, third, forth clip etc. so the adjustment layer will be the true solution.

That's just amazing! Is there something like this to correct the audio?
Thank you!

Thanks! What if I want to apply the same baseline correction to all the clips in my project pannel (while they haven't been yet put on a timeline) - do I have to do that one by one?
