Unboxing Google's Pixel 7 Pro, an epic-sized 2022 flagship phone boating incredible telephoto camera tech, an all-new Tensor G2 chipset and solid specs - for a price. This hands-on review of the Pixel 7 Pro UK model tests the gaming, shows off early camera samples and tours that Android 13 UI. So is Google's latest smartphone a winner?

Well, it's certainly a media monster, with a QHD Plus 6.7-inch OLED screen that hits 120Hz refresh. You have a stereo speaker setup, plus a 5000mAh battery to hopefully see you through a full day on one charge. The Google Pixel 7 Pro also serves up upgraded optics, including an ultra-wide camera with autofocus for macro pics and a telephoto lens to rival the Samsung S22 Ultra.

Gaming this early on the Pixel 7 Pro is still a bit stuttery if you wanna play Genshin Impact on top settings, but updates are already rolling in. So I'll be testing the game experience some more to see if things are smoother. Battery life is improving with those OTAs as well, hoping to share a review soon. Had my 7 Pro a few weeks now, absolutely loving it having move from a Oneplus 9 Pro. Although not a much customisation I do prefer this compared to Oxygen OS 13. One of the things I love with the 7 Pro is the themed icons.

I went with the Pixel 6 just before launch of the 7, as I got a good cash price and there did not seem a massive upgrade to me, especially with the camera, which is the real big thing for me. Impressed with the Lamb of God sounds on the phone 🤘

Pixel 7 Pro upgrade? More like a love affair! Snaps pics like a dream, even in the dark, and the battery goes forever. Plus, Google updates are like clockwork, keeping everything tight. But hey, no phone's perfect. This glossy back? Fingerprint city. Body protection film seems like the move, but bulky cases? No thanks, they kill the vibe. Thinking a matte screen protector from gadgetshieldz might be the key. Solves the fingerprint frenzy and adds some grip without turning my phone into a clunky mess. Now that's what I call a game-changer.

I like your comment. First time I have ordered google pixel 7 pro big mobile from 02 network. I'm waiting to arrive. I am pleased that it has 128 GB. where I have most of some apps but still keep enough storage. Can't wait to take pics, listen to music or radio. The charge is not too bad as such. It looks like a cool mobile.

Currently I'm using the Pixel 4a 5g and while this phone has been great my 7pro is arriving tomorrow! I got it in the hazel color. My cousin has a 6pro and talked me into upgrading.
