This Speedrun Breaks Slime Rancher

Today we speedrun Slime Rancher, but in the most broken way possible. We use glitches that destroy the game but hey, at least it lets us go fast

The main glitch we use for speedrunning this category of Slime Rancher is sleep walking. This makes the game constantly think you are in a state of sleep, so time passes really quickly. It causes some really cool things that normally would never happen.

Also at the end I said it was a pretty competitive category but obviously... it's not. I meant that people brought the times really low, I just don't know how to talk.

Edit: I got on Slime rancher and my save is on day 359. I wonder how many of those were deaths.
I should also prolly put that I played the game VERY early in its lifespan, so before there was even credits to get

you should try a speed run of killing a sim by laughter or embarrassment since they're two of the hardest ways to die in the game

I find it very interesting that your stamina is connected to the game's time clock rather than having it's own individual cooldown timer, im sure Viktor would find it equally intriguing that Beatrix can break time just by doing a funny sleep lol

Fun fact: these big slimes dont actually die when you overfeed them, if you look into the slimepedia it says that its actually just a bunch of normal slimes sticked together. So when you overfeed one, all of the normal slimes burst everywhere

If you didn’t realise, using the infinite jet pack you can bipass quite a few (not all) but most of the doors leaving you to only need 2, I expect this would significantly increase the speed of the run
