As I was listening to this, I had an overwhelming feeling of being grateful for all the "negative" things that have happened to me in life.... Especially the actions of people who I thought "loved" me.

Why grateful for them in my life? Because if it was not for them I would not have the pleasure of truly feeling what true love and kindness is. Light means nothing without dark. Hot means nothing without cold. Unity means nothing without division. There must be the opposite to appreciate or not appreciate the opposite. If I never had a storm, I would not truly appreciate the calm.

Thank you a lot for still uploading Alan videos. It's sad that very few channels uploaded videos about his lectures all these years. Also not so much people talked about him in all these years. I always understood instantly what he said in his lectures because its something I always felt inside but could never put it into words or thoughts, but he graciously calmed all my doubts. Balance is the key aim in this existence. Not to much, not too little, keep the course as straight as you can. We are all flawed & we lean the wrong direction at times but if we truly correct our charted way, we can go to sleep each night not saying "shoulda, coulda, woulda"....but saying "i did the best i could". Regret is avoided and peace of mind follows. Choose giving rather than harm, for the takers eat well, but the givers sleep well. GOD BLESS
