Earth has endured 12 months of temperatures 1.5C hotter than the pre-industrial era for the first time on record, Europe's climate monitor said Thursday, in what scientists called a "warning to humanity".

It’s too far gone. All of the building and pavement, and land fields of decades of junk, and the trash in the ocean and the emissions from all of these plants—- are a huge problem. I noticed that when I walked in the woods in 90 degrees it was way more pleasant than walking across a parking lot. These cities are tearing down the forest that protect us. Every ten years they build a new shopping center, with new homes, and businesses to accommodate the people. The old mall, which was wonderful, is empty now. This has happened in every American city. Is this rate of deforestation sustainable ?
