Instead people are feigning all sorts of accolaides on a quarterback for setting a new passing record, or shoving people aside to buy some garment Kim Kardashian endorses.

This video is NOT for the faint of heart. This is a video for someone that has already come to terms with climate change and wants to understand what is at risk.

The only 'problem' with this video is it reports methane being 20X more potent than CO2. That is correct when considering methane (CH4) warming over 100 years. The thing is, CH4 is 100x more potent than CO2 in a 2 year period. A large release (look up Siberian Times and search methane) of CH4 has substantial and immediate impacts.

At the current pace of warming and social and political inaction, the Earth is on pace to reach a 5 degrees Celsius increase by 2100.

Well in the short term methane is almost 80 times as bad as CO2. And the thing is if the grain crops fail for two or three seasons then the fact that methane is short lived in the atmosphere doesn't matter for 90% of humanity.
