Car Used By Alabama Corrections Officer And Escaped Inmate Found In Tennessee

A vehicle matching one that an Alabama corrections officer purchased before disappearing with an inmate was found Thursday in rural Tennessee, according to Sheriff Rick Singleton. NBC News’ Sam Brock reports on the new information revealed at an afternoon press conference.

They haven't said anything about witnesses from when they switched from
the police car to her vehicle. There had to be people seeing that who wondered
why they were transferring from a police vehicle into a SUV.
