this tech was invented in the 1900s with gyros

Monocab is an autonomous one-rail vehicle for rural areas in Germany. It balances using gyroscopes, but early test versions use support wheels. Runs on old tracks, both directions, app-controlled.

"Efficiently uses existing train tracks"
"only carries 6 people? Really inefficient space use"
"Goes so slow that any actual train coming from behind will be forced to slow down too, making huge delays"

why can't we just attach these to an actual train or something? maybe fit in some more seats for passengers? call it a "Passenger Pod"!

There is a dude who had made a single track train way back in the '30s dude, do a side-by-side comparison it was a double gyro system, it kind of like how they have now except parallel

I'd he happy if they could effectively convert existing railways into maglev high-speed trains.

I know many companies are working on that.
