For those who are reading the comments wondering of anybody else has made this recipe and how it turned out I made this recipe today as the 4th recipe i tried for Turkish delight. If you do exactly as the video states your TD should turn out great.
Mine did not turn out perfectly on my OWN fault but it was still better than the other recipes.

I would like to give a couple notes on this recipe for those trying it.

1. When it says to whisk the pomegranate starch mixture constantly from the beginning IT MEANS it. This particular recipe has a very high cornstarch to liquid ratio and when i was usually able to briskly stir the starch mixture with a spoon or manual whisk in the other recipes, this one thickened way to fast and by the time i could get my electric mixer it was like rubber cement.

2.. One that note, it has been stated in the comments that 250 ml of pom juice is sufficient but i found this to be too little for the amount of starch. Either drop the starch (3/4 or less) or add more juice (i did the latter to save my overly stiff starch mixture). I used about 300-350 ml.

3. Add the syrup mixture SLOWLY and bit by bit to the juice mixture. (Not even half then half) If you do not, you will get what happened to mine. It splits into tons of tiny lumps and no matter how much you whisk it (i did with my electric mixer for almost 20 minutes) it will not be smooth.

4. Add walnuts (if you like them) and thank me later. This recipe has a lot of sugar (almost burns your throat) and the nut helps to make the TD a little less rich.

I will use this recipe again but follow these steps and i know it will be a good batch. Besides my problems, this recipe set up great and the flavor of the pomegranate was very noticeable.

So I made it today and I am very pleased. It tasted like Turkish Delight and it almost felt like it. A friend of a friend who is from Turkey  just happened to drop by and he agreed that it tasted right and would probably feel right the next day. Thank you so much for this.
I couldn't find Pomegranate juice so substituted pure Tart Cherry juice.

In case y'all didn't quite catch the recipe as it went by, here it is. :D {Or if you want to print it I suppose.}
Ingredients:

800 g, 28 0z, or 4 cups white sugar
120 g, 4/12 oz, or 1 cup corn starch
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cream of tartar
Juice of three pomegranates
Water

160 g, 5/12 oz, or 1 cup, icing sugar (confectioner’s)
30 g, 1 oz, or 1/4 cornflour
Extra icing (confectioner’s) sugar

Directions

Pour 1 and 1/2 cups of water in a large pot. Add the white sugar. Stir, add the lemon juice and bring to a boil. After about 30 minutes, turn off the heat.
In another pot, put 2/3 cup of water and the pomegranate juice. Add the cream of tartar and corn flour. Whisk it together for 30 minutes as it cooks. {I’m assuming low heat.}
Gradually add the water-sugar mix to the thick pomegranate mix, mixing thouroughly with whisk or beaters. Then, whisking constantly, let the mixture sit over the heat for another hour or so. {Again, low heat.} The mixture will be quite thick by now. Take the pot off the heat.
Place wax paper in a medium-sized pan, and oil the paper, or spray with cooking spray. Pour the mixture in the tray, making sure it is even.
Let this cool for about 5 hours.

Now put the cup of icing sugar in a large bowl. Add the 1/4 cup of cornflour and mix together. Dust your hands, and dust the Delight well. Also dust your work surface. Turn the gelatiny Delight out onto the icing sugar and then dust the (undusted) top well.  Cut the entire thing into strips or whatever shape you like. Then roll the pieces in the icing sugar and cornflour mixture (in that bowl).  Enjoy!

OMG!  Thank you so much for sharing this.  I love Turkish Delight.  From the first time I tasted it, I can't get enough of it.  I have tried several flavors and I love them all. I really appreciate this.

I bought some for the office party.  I spit it out, the chemicals left a horrible after taste.  I should have surfed You Tube, found the recipe and just made it from scratch.  Live and learn.  This looks delicious, I will try it.  Thank you.

The way it's finished reminds me very much of making homemade marshmallow with all the powdered sugar and cornstarch mixture.

great recipe, but sadly the music is very annoying, something more soothing would be a lot more pleasant, Had to put it on mute before I pulled my hair out !!!

Thanks so much for sharing the video! I love lokum and I am happy about making it at home, especially that I can't get it in shops in my country. But I also can't get tartar cream :/ What can I use instead of this one ingredient?

I will give this recipe a try. But I will just boil 1 cup of sugar in 1.5 cups of coconut juice from a young coconut fruit. Plenty of coconuts in Malaysia. Too much sugar, I don't care for that much sugar, so I'll be equally delighted with a bland version of Turkish delight..
