I think Garry's mod will still be alive, because the game's actually able to run on any pc

Correction, sandbox gamemode is currently not available and probably wont be available unless somebody else makes it.
Sandbox is rather a mix of unity and roblox than garry's mod. In sbox you dont have a base game that you can mod, you make the game from the ground up.
