In this #ExcelTutorial we'll show you how to use our free DataXL add-in to create multiple sheets basis on one-column values and then transfer data on each sheet.
We developed this tool for data split on multiple worksheets.
All right, so I'm here in the practice file.
In this example, we would like to split the range into 12 sheets by month.
Go to the DataXL tab on the ribbon.
Select the Range icon.
Select the 'Split range by sheets' option from the list.
Let's see the userform.
Add a source range.
Select the 'number of rows in header' option and enter the value. In this case, one.
Choose a splitting method; in this case, we want to split the range by columns.
Click OK.
Now we have 12 sheets that contain the monthly data.
