Fast forward 2019.. can't agree more. I never met an entrepreneur who thought school was important for their success. I would think even if you were to look for a job, to be an employee, the chance improves as to work with mentors and take on apprentice somewhere. College education totally over-valued and such a waste of money and time.... kids graduating without much skills and experience. To think graduating with a prestige degree deserves higher pay is flawed. With the internet, anyone can learn anything. You don't need to be within ivy walls to learn from dinosaurs. The world is the new university. Being resourceful is more important and valuable than sitting somewhere and spoon feed by some professors in a university.

This is a one sided argument. Having a formal education can support your entrepreneurship ideals.

2021 Now. Definitely not worth it at all. 4 Years is plenty of time for your businesses to make more than going to college then getting a job.

But what about Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers, Architects, Air Space Controllers and Engineers? These people need college to be able to work. And their contributions are invaluable.

Thanks to the web we can learn so much thanks to Siri I can find out fast what I need to know. Most of the stuff u read in text books are just for the test when you graduate and get a job do u think your employees is going to care how much u scored on your test. They want to see that you get the work down. And what your life experience is That’s it. U basically go to college to work for someone else to make there company rich .. employees never become rich it’s usually the person that owns the business or company and most of the time they are college drop outs that followed there dream and started a business. Try to start a business you will learn so much. My hair dresser charges 30 dollars for a hair cut she can get 10 customers or more in a day 300 in one day most people make that much in a week .

U don’t need to go to college to be successful college have a perfect business model to tell people they need to go to college most courses are a wast of money. You want to be a doctor engineer teacher lawyer yes go to college but most courses are wast of money. A plumber makes more money in just 3 hrs of work that should tell you something college is overrated I am not saying not to go to college must jobs request college degree but most courses are a waste of money.
