U.S. supreme court judge and Democrat was also a member of the Ku Klux Klan but ended up publicly resigning his membership of that organization and later stating "I would have joined any group if it helped get me votes."

Paul Harvey was an American radio broadcaster for ABC News Radio. He broadcast News and Comment on mornings and mid-days on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays and also his famous The Rest of the Story segments. From 1951 to 2008, his programs reached as many as 24 million people per week. Paul Harvey News was carried on 1,200 radio stations, on 400 American Forces Network stations, and in 300 newspapers.

I actually figured that one out before he closed. As one pastor I had in my days when I was with the Church of God(Cleveland, TN) used to say, "My worst enemy is the man wears my own clothes." Rev. Noah L. King is the pastor's name.

It seems he was a Klansman in the '20s, THEN wised up and became more liberal. I HOPE that's the way it was.
I never knew much about him.
