I'll say this about luxury quartz. Yes, they're meant to be serviced and should last as long as a mechanical, *as long as they continue to make the batteries*. Bulova Accutrons, Spaceviews, etc would be great buys if they still made the batteries. There are guides on how to use a substitute battery and undervolt it, but it's quite a faffe and for most people they're virtually unusable.

I have a Heuer Coral 980 026, Heuer 981.006, Heuer 272.006 and a TAG Heuer Night diver 989 113. The Heuer's are from the early 80s and the TAG Heuer is from 1988 and all of them have their original movement's. You can't kill those ESA 536.121, ETA 955.112, Heuer 185 super quartz movement's they are DIE HARD and the seconds hand still hits every marker perfectly to. So the one's that think quartz movement's aren't built to last for decades are dead wrong

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO
