WHAT IS VALVE LASH, VALVE LASH ADJUSTMENT ON DIFFERENT ENGINES

In this video we will explain what valve lash is, how to adjust valve lash on different engines and why it is very important to have the correct valve lash. If the valve lash is not correct you can experience engine problems. If the valve lash is not enough it will keep the valve open and you will loose compression and maybe even burn a valve. If the valve lash is too big you will cause damage to the caps and the camshaft. Which could be lead to needing serious engine work.
Always check the valve lash especially when replacing cylinder head, camshaft, vaves and more.
