I've been using mini 6 for over a year and I love it! I take it with me every day to university and it helped me reduce paper usage to almost zero. I don't loose notes anymore and I don't collect tons of dusty old printouts. the size is perfect, it fits in my smallest bag and its so light yet pretty powerful. I highly recommend it to any student out there!

The mini 6 replaced my full size ipad, kindle, notebook and in large part my iphone - it's small enough to be a MUCH better typing experience than a full size iPad, it is a wonderful reading experience as it can go super dim at night and it's portable enough to fit in a jacket pocket - I love this thing!

I switched from the 11” Pro to the Mini last year and haven’t looked back. You nailed it with that line about it being the least confusing iPad- I use it all the time (notetaking/task manager) and it’s with me pretty much everywhere.

So pleased to hear you’ve been enjoying it too 😊

I bought an iPad mini about a month ago, with the idea of accompanying/supplementing my 12.9” iPad Pro—the 2nd gen from 2017. I thought of the mini as being a way of getting into some of the more recent iPad features without spending too much. Oh. My. Goodness, is this thing awesome! Yes, it serves as a great little sidekick to my 12.9, which I still use when I need the big screen… but this mini increasingly my go-to device for most everything else! I use it for videos/TV watching, light email, and even recording audio since the USB-C lets me easily plug in an audio interface. It’s just-right size is absolutely perfect for note taking, lesson planning (I work in higher ed), and all kinds of other stuff. I’m doing more universal control stuff as well via my MacBook, and it’s all smooth as butter. Really loving this thing!

I've been using one for a year, and I can't stop reccomending this to everyone. Easy to carry to the office everyday, Pencil lets me do design stuff, notetaking, a little screen to show some products or projects to customers quickly.
I always say it I HAVE TROUBLE PUTTING IT DOWN. I'm glad my boss see the results of using it as a work tool and not thinking im using a toy to get distracted...

Like you I have access to the entire range of iPads for software development and testing. I struggle to find where the iPad fits into my personal workflow with how good and light the M series of MacBooks are. The iPad Mini does offer a good amount of flexibility and now that I am traveling constantly again, I just take my iPad mini for entertainment (movies, tv, book consumption) and my MacBook or Surface device depending on the client. It offers just enough and it fits in everything. Really great device.

I LOVE my iPad Mini 6. I originally got it for taking with me on long motorcycle trips to watch videos and upload photos, but it quickly turned into part of my everyday carry items. It's my digital planner, note-taker, and preferred device for reading books on Apple Books or Kindle or just scrolling social media. As for updates, I do agree that better battery life would be nice, but I don't really miss not having a stage manager on the mini, and not having face recognition isn't a biggie either for me. I also have the iPad Air, and it's my device for heavier tasks, but honestly, if the task is too heavy for the mini, it usually ends up being something I go to my Macbook for anyway. I'm glad to hear you've come to love the mini, it's a great device, and whenever Apple does decide to upgrade it I'm sure I'll be upgrading mine, but in the meantime, it's working just perfect for what I bought it for. I do wish I'd purchased the model with cell service instead of wifi only, but even that's not been much of a hindrance to me as I have my phone for a hotspot on the rare occasions when there is no wifi available.

I’m a photographer & I bought the mini 6 last year to use mainly for photo editing, and I LOVE IT!! Many ppl told me it would be too small and a waste of money, & tried to convince me to go with the larger iPad Pro. But personally, I love the size & portability of the iPad mini. I own 2 MacBooks and I rarely ever use them anymore because my iPad is just so much more convenient. I highly recommend!

I sold my 2018 iPad Pro for the mini and I don't regret it at all ! the form factor on the mini is perfect and so confortable to hold. Really a good choice if you want a portable device that follows you everywhere.

Great video as always. I moved up from an iPad Mini 5 so the Mini 6 was an easy sell when it released, for all of the reasons you cited in this video. This is the perfect content consumption device, and not a laptop, desktop, or iPad Pro replacement.

I've been using mine for over a year primarily as a digital planner. I create my own digital notebooks in Keynote and use them in Goodnotes. It's a convenient size to take with me when compared to the iPad Air I had before. It's also a comfortable size for gaming on, and I love it for watching YouTube, and playing workout videos. I've had a few iPads now, including the Pro, and this is by far my favorite one.

I came from a Pro and I was afraid I’d miss all the little perks like better speakers and ProMotion, but I didn’t. And I love the form factor. It’s now my main device at home. I browse, watch, play on it and it’s fantastic.

I recently switched from the iPad pro 11 inch to the mini 6. Really liking it so far. It's just so much easier to use. The larger ipad wants to be a computer replacement but it just isn't yet.

Bought mine back in November 2021, it has never disappointed. It is more of a consumption device but can still help in content creation as people say. Nowadays goes on sale for a decent price, the size of the tablet is perfect for a secondary computing device

I use both the iPad Pro 11 for work and the mini for pleasure. I used to watch everything on my phone, but for about a few months now I’ve noticed I usually reach for the mini instead. I originally bought it for reading as I’ve found I don’t like reading Kindle on my phone, but now it’s pretty much become my go to for entertainment (watch, read, or play).

After using the 11inch iPad Pro 2nd gen, I have grew tired of the size and found it too big for carrying around, Got my mini 6 few weeks ago and loving it so far, so easy to hold onto mini for media consumption and gaming.

I use my Mini in my Music classroom everyday. I use it for my presentations, teaching, playing music, everything. I love that I can walk around my classroom and teach and not worry about it being to large for me!

I have a mini 5 that I take basically everywhere. It’s just convenient in meetings, the gym, or even sitting scrolling on the couch. It’s so much lighter than other models which makes it a solid overall option.

Im using my mini 6 mostly for gaming and media consumption. Some of my videos are even edited just here on this mini 6. It saves my 14 pro max from being overused and my ipad pro 12.9 is just too heavy and huge to bring with everywhere. Gaming on this device is sooo much fun as it doesnt heat up like most fone does.

Totally agree Tom. I traded my air for a mini last year and haven't looked back. I find it easier to read on, can carry it in a smaller sling when I go out, and I use it as another monitor with sidecar.
