I bought the 2015 Rio LX+ sedan which is nicely equipped with air, heated front seats and side mirror, power windows, cruise control, USB input for cell phone connectivity, voice recognition and control, and could have gone more.... but I have to stay with LX model to get the 6- speed manual transmission. I can't believe about the mixed reviews from some U.S. magazines about this car. I wanted a subcompact car that has relatively smooth drivetrain, peppy, comfortable, and reasonably fun to drive! I tested the Versa (nice but underpowered and boring car) and finally the Fit which could be fun but revs too high at high not to mention it's relatively higher price. When it comes to power and acceleration, the 2015 Honda Fit and the Rio are just about equal, but I prefer to drive the Rio at long stretch of highway speeds which revs much lower at around 80 m/hr. compared to the Fit. The Rio's standard Kumho tires could be a bit noisy but will upgrade to Aluminum wheels and better tires which could probably improve the noise and handling as well as enhance it's already nice looking design. I could use the standard steel rims for snow tires. I'm very happy with my choice and have no regrets at all.

Who needs to spend extra bucks if you are looking for a second car that only serves daily commuting to work or something. Definitely this trim vehicle fulfills the goal.
I remember civic used to come with DX as well with manual window and such.

Bought a used 2015 Kia Rio with 19k miles on it 2 years ago for only 7k. Runs beautiful and great gas mileage. Perfect commuter car

I don't know why people laugh at the manual windows. I own a 2002 I bought it new, I plan I buying this one. When I buy a car I keep them. Less BS added when new means less money to spend repairing it later. Is it really that much work to crank a window? I owned mine for 13 years now and no repairs so far except for normal. It is a basic stripped down model. A/C, C/D I love it. As I said I plan on buying a new one. Mine new cost 12, 250. This is by far the best one to buy

Looking at a cheap hatchback Rio. I liked the leather option but it's like crazy expensive more money so I'll go cloth, it's a beater car for me. BTW did you ever show it driving? I skipped through your review and it was you in the parking lot.
