Despite its compact dimensions, the Rio S does swallow up a lot more than you might expect. The boot space is slightly larger than its key competitor, the Toyota Yaris, at 288 litres versus 286 litres in the Yaris, and also has rear seats that fold down in 60:40 fashion for bulkier items. With two of the rear seats folded down it ate up three surfboards, two bodyboards and a few wetsuits and towels for us, and still offered up some more room. Around the cabin there are cubby-holes and storage compartments for all your essentials. Overall the Rio S’ practicality is a big surprise.

I have the Kia Rio World Edition in the same color i'm very satisfied with it being my first real car.. no complaints so far

very good car good money a have 80kw 137nm no 79kw 135nm now 2014 version 1.4 cvvt 80kw realy nice power for atmosfere 6500eu a have only max 40 000km ! realy nice !

Unfortunately the 1.4 litre engine is not a very good they should have just made all of them with the 1.6 would have been way better

GDI engine were crap, 1.6 liter were not that bad, but the kia forte had a loooot of problems

4 speed auto?.... lol doesn't sound like the Kia I know in the U.S. With the powerful 1.6L GDI engine with a tip tronic 6 speed auto. I guess Kia's are a cheaper kind of car in Australia.

Do not buy a Kia. These things depreciate like no other vehicle. We purchased a 2014 Kia Rio LX new in 2014 and it has already lost more than 50% of it's original value. We also have a Honda Civic and a Subaru Impreza and neither of them have lost more than 20% of their value. If you lease one of these you'll be completely screwed as the vehicle will be worth less than the three year residual at the end of 24 months. Don't be fooled by the price, go with a Toyota, Honda or Subaru, they will hold a much higher percentage of their original value over time.
