I don't have kids, and I don't have ketchup. But my two indoor long-haired cats more than make up for the destruction. I have two mid-century chairs originally upholstered in a (gorgeous) orange slubby shantung-like fabric. I've wanted to reupholster them, but didn't know what fabric would stand up to the cats. Now I have some awesome ideas. Thank you soooo much! :)

Best fabric for commercial truck seats is wool. Cool in the Summer ..Warm in Winter. Really appreciated when spending ten hours a day in the seat. Just popped in to your channel

Miss Aimee !! So good to see you again! I found these two videos very informative . The way they’re going to help me is this way. I ve been wanting to build some dressers and nightstands but instead of finishing the with lacquer or varnish, I thought to rap them with fabric!! And you’re info on the backing for the different types is very helpful!! I’ll have to watch the videos again and take notes!😉 like a real student! 🤪

After some work on my piece, I would say instead of ketchup to test, it should be blood. Luckily I had the hydrogen peroxide handy after bleeding on it a few times.

Thank you so much for this video. Since I get fabric at discount stores, I can't see the content or if it's residential or commercial quality so doing tests on it will really give me more confidence, I'm now trying to get up the courage to try the pneumatic staple gun.

The only thing missing was no mention whether you used a damp cloth, a cloth with dishsoap, or a dry cloth on the ketchup! Would have been helpful to know.
