In this video we show you how to reupholster an armchair step by step from start to finish. Starting with stripping off the old fabric and then re-padding the chair, cutting the new fabric and upholstering the chair. We provide lots of upholstery tips and tricks throughout the video so make sure you don’t miss anything! We show you detail on how to upholster an outside arm of a chair, how to upholster an outside back too. This is a very detailed upholstery tutorial so even beginners in upholstery will be able to follow along!

I’ve been taking upholstery classes since 2018. My main teacher is a master upholsterer. But the way classes are set up with students working on various projects, it’s not possible to get this kind of detailed overview instruction. (Instead it’s just happening in the moment step by step without a great deal of explanation which is ok except that my learning style requires this kind of overview)
These videos are extremely helpful for me to review the steps of projects and to see the big picture. I greatly appreciate your making and sharing these videos!
