When you say "lose oxygen" you have no idea to what level you're even talking about. If it's just the air, we'd all be fine for 5 seconds. If it's every oxygen atom in all molecules everything would be destroyed.

Water, which makes up most of the surface of the planet, along with most of the human body, is made up of two hydrogen atoms for every oxygen atom. If every oxygen atom suddenly disappeared, the human body would literally fall apart: cell by cell.
