This is a trick I use when I can't find anymore AA batteries around the house. Not supposed to be a permanent solution but it works great to get you through an emergency situation when you have no AA batteries.

Or you can go to amazon a get rechargeable battery packs that fit right into the slot so you just have to put the remote on the charging stand it comes with.

This is really useful when you're doing something like playing a racing game and you're in a middle of a race. Then, you get that low battery warning. My phone's charger saved me countless times.
