The the bike is a Co-Motion, Pangea, Co-Pilot. With all the options the bike retails for somewhere around $6,000. I'm not rich. I'm frugal, and I made some sacrifices to get what I call my, "dream bike." I almost puked and fainted, (hopefully faint first, I don't want to be passed out in a puddle of puke) when I realized what happened. I look at this as a good opportunity to grow. It's a bad deal but I feel lucky. I have a long ways to go; as a person and bike miles. I will do what I can to make the adventure continue.

i like positive step back reactions while facing such issues. does too much importance have been put up into some part of this dream. is that a step that is hidding something to come that might be of better and/or happier perspective and you would never encounter if you haven't lived such event..

My gosh Nic, that sucks. At least you are OK, the bike is repairable, or replaceable. If there is anything I can do, let me know. The bike shop I work at is a Co-Motion dealer. We also are a Surly dealer, hint, hint, hehehe

I would expect the rims to bend. NOT the frame! Touring frame is supposed to be built like a tank. Co-motion "Super-tough exclusive Reynolds 725 steel tubing" What tubing? The bloody thing crimped in!!! No thank you Co-motionless
