Out in front across the street is a field where is found bicycle frame tubing growing. It may take longer, but locally harvested bicycle tubing means you can be assured the tubing on your frame is fresh.

The coupler on the frame is the best feature on their touring bikes.

I love my tandem but will be buying a co-motion most likely in the next 2 years. One of my questions would be that while I want to do long tours, I would like to put some wide tires on for mountain biking. I am just wondering if Co-motion can build a Java so I could put a 2.4''' mountain bike tire on it (although I am not sure if the 29ers are coming out with that width yet).

They all seemed unprepared for your tour...did you just drop in and ask for one? Great bikes and I'm lucky I live near. A custom fitting and build is in my future.
