Thanks JM for another informative blog. Based on experince on frequent international travels, I am able to bring my own "baon" on my flights. Typically when I go to US or Canada, I bring rice with "ulam" as I am not a fan of airplane food, and no one has ever questioned it. Of course, we need to be considerate of our co-passengers so we should not bring smelly food. I have brought adobo, menudo and grilled pork with rice on various flights and it was ok. I placed it in lock&lock and I still get airline meals but only eat the dessert from it. Hope this helps. :)

Hi! May I ask po.. may mga transferable po kasi na mga containers na nabibili sa miniso, pwde po ba yun kahit wla nakalagay na mga grams or ml?

Skl rin po in case someone asks about fins. When we went freediving to Bohol, yung friend ko ang dala nya long fins, need i check in and i cling wrap. Yung sakin training fins, yung maikli lang, no need to check in. Handcarry lang, nagkasya naman sa maleta.

Can I bring a big umbrella as long as it's foldable?
What about rechargeable hand-held or mini fans, are they allowed for hand carry?
For the total size of liquid containers, is that a total of 1k for both handcarry and checkin baggage? Or is that just for handcarry?
