Hi Richard. I just wanted to share with you that I was interviewed for a senior managerial job in the NHS today and I got the job!!! It wouldn’t have been possible without all your amazing online resources. I am grateful and want to say a massive thank you for all you do.

Hello Richard, I would just like to tell you that at 70 years young I was successful in obtaining a position with the Cross River Rail project for the upcoming Brisbane Olympics. I found your documents and reviews helpful and enjoyed your informative voice and mannerism. I have been employed since I was 15 and thought my youth LOL would be an impediment. Many thanks Susan

I just wanted to say a huge Thank you for all the content you’ve provided on job interviews. I cant even express you how much you’ve helped me. I have been working in my current job for 18 years and probably should have left at least 5 years ago, but struggled with my confidence as I felt I couldn’t do anything else. I found a job and the description really resonated with me and I decided to go for it. I filled out the questionnaire quite quickly as I presumed I would have the opportunity to attach my CV. That didn’t happen and after a week or so plucked up the courage to ring the number and ask if the position had been filled and and explained I was wondering if I could possibly send over my CV as there was information that I hadn’t included that would hopefully ensure my an interview. I was too late, but an hour later I received a call to say I had reached the next stage and was invited to screen test for a mock call and mock email situation. I then spent hours and hours watching your content making notes and practicing my answers to relevant questions I imagined I would be asked. Non of that’s came up in the screen test (as I guess I didn’t really understand the process). I passed that part, And interviewed the following day. Had the zoom interview with a panel of 3 people, was honest about my nerves but felt confident in what I could say, in most situations. I turned off the camera straight after and really felt I couldn’t have done more. All the questions came up that you’ve covered and I had an instant response for them which really enabled me to come across calm and in control, and they were all nodding and smiling whilst taking notes. When asked if I had any questions for us? I used one of yours and got a “ooh great question, I will let Alison answer that” Haha she was put right on the on the spot.
I find out beginning of this week either way and regardless of the outcome .. I’m know I can do it all over again in the next interview with the skills and confidence you’ve given me .. thanks a lot 😊

Thanks for these videos Richard, they are golden! I prefer the answer # 1 to the free time question as it captures exactly how I use my free time. Thanks once again for the videos.

I got this question on my recent interview. I told the hiring manager I played video games, but I recently stopped playing as much as I did before. I joked around and told him it was probably due to me getting older. I then told him I held and played board games as a hobby. Last week, I got the job offer and I accepted it!

Thumbs up! Thanks for sharing all your invaluable tips and advice. The first impression lasts. I think I have to get all your tips in my arsenal and use them appropriately. As for three options that which one I think is the strongest, I would be choosing all three. Because in all three I can see my pattern of my daily routine and activity. You are doing a great job teaching the basics of interview. I think I would like to add two more qualities to your success interview list. Speaking confidently and not to get too excited. You rock! Cheers!

I was helped by your videos and used them to create good answers ahead of my interviews. Even though the interviewers questions proved to be somewhat different from what i had prepared I was mentally prepared to answer any question. The day after my second interview and even before the scheduled last interview they called me and wanted to hire me!

Thank you for this video! I just found your channel a couple of days ago and I have enjoyed the videos I have seen so far. As I am about to embark on my quest for new employment opportunity one of my concerns is how to explain that I am now taking care of my elderly parents and whether that could hinder me in my job search. I appreciate that you touch on this and how it can be used as a positive aspect. Cheers!

Thanks for the video, it helped! I agree with nearly everything.
From my point of view, games and series are not necesarily a negative point to mention. It depends on how you mention them.
("Too much" of anything is never okay)

- Games (online and at a friends house) can also be a means to an end: Socializing.
- Tv series can also show that you can become very enthousiastic about a certain one.

Furthermore, sports and family/friends are indeed always good topics to mention.

Keep up the great videos!
