Wendigos are different from Skinwalkers. Skinwalkers are humans who CAN shapeshift by using animals skins and magic. Wendigos are humans corrupted by evil spirits through acts of cannabalism. Love the vids though.

The history of the Wendigo goes all the way back to the 70s and before in the folklore of the Northern American states . I first heard and may have had several encounters with this being and a few other cryptic beings when I was a little kid, I didn't really know what they were and I never felt threatened at all . They seemed to know that I was just a child at that time and they treated me like one of their little ones . I never told anyone about these encounters because I didn't see any reason to . I never felt threatened at any time . There was 1 time that a specific creature made its presence known and scared all the others whom were with me, on a hike along the rail road tracks, through the woods at that time with our counselor . They all panicked and started running and this made me panic and I started running very fast to . I came out of my shoes and did not go back to get them until the following day . The same counselor whom was with us at this time came back to the same spot that we all started running from and found my shoes, very correctly right next to each where I left them behind and I did not leave them there Like that . Whatever put them there back like that, scared our counselor because he would have brought my shoes back me, if he had gone back to get them for me . We all wanted to know what it was that was following us through the woods the day before . We all looked around for a little while but found and heard nothing further . So we all headed back to camp and no one ever found out what it was that was following us that day on our hike though the woods, along the railroad tracks that day before but I was the only one who knew . I left out a few details on purpose in this , very true story, in order to not make it to long . If you would like to know what happened in the middle of this episode, 1of many true experiences - please let me know . I will gladly let you all know . Thank you for time and attention .
