When you get banned, they are extremely rude. Even my sales associate whom I loved and brought a lot of business to. I reached out after receiving a letter and never got a text again. I try to avoid returns when I didn’t like a bag so I would resell it and lose hundreds of dollars in the process. Most of my items were canvas and I purchased well over 20, 00 worth of items in one year only to get banned. The only thing good that came out of this is that it has forced me into the resale market there for saving me that money that I once lost.

I am from the UK. I have just been banned from LV because I have exceeded the buying limit which I knew nothing about. They sent me an email as if I am a thief. I wish I had not gone past the 30 days of return. I will never buy from them again. Banned for two years. I am not surprised at the way they treated you unfortunately. I am sorry you went through that because in the shop when they decline you it’s heartbreaking. Specially when LV is something you treat yourself to😢

So sorry you experienced this. I was traveling this summer and went to a LV store and wanted to purchase a cosmetic case gm and first was given a snob response I assume was because I was asking for a small item then she keep pushing shoes on me and wanting me to try them on and I never showed any interest in shoes. When I went to buy the case, she said she could not find me in the system and asked if a was a customer though I am standing in front of her wearing my pochette metis with a bandeau tied on and my LV sunglasses. I have bought loads in store and online for 4 years but she could not find me? She acted like she did not want to help me or make a sale. I wish I had asked for another SA.

I recommend that you go to your local boutique and have your regular SA look into your info and your purchase history, , I had a bad experience because someone with my same name in Los Angeles ( I live in the Dominican Republic) was purchasing under my account and “Thank God” that my SA and the boutique manager knows me and could fix the problem but I was declared “Banned from shopping “ because of the mistake.

Wow, this is crazy. Looking forward to part 2. They must really be cracking down, I did read that they banned someone who was a re-seller recently. However--what is someone supposed to do if they wanted to buy gifts and wanted to buy multiples? "Oh, I'm sorry Gigi, I can't give you a speedy like I gave your sisters because I've been banned." WTF? And yes, you had every reason to be concerned as well!

They have to be reading it wrong. I ordered an LV item and I returned and it shows in the system but it shows as a transaction. You have to go into the item and see that it is a return. That’s really ridiculous that they don’t even know their own system.

Used to be "customer is king or customer is always right" but now sales representative is always right. Luxury seems to translate to rudeness sometimes.

Oh my god!!!! I'm so sorry this happened to you!
I really hope that the manager was better behaved and you were compensated or they at least apologized to you!
Thank god you have your SA in your hometown to help with the situation, I'm actually shocked these people still exist and able to work in these boutiques.
Waiting for tomorrow's video to find out that everything worked out🤞

Omg, Dacob, this is horrible. The same thing happened to me, found out on our trip to London in 2021…The SA said I bought like 5 Speedies and like 30 bags for the year, my husband knocked over his champagne they served us😂. Anxiously waiting for part 2.

Ridiculous. You know, in the economy we’re in, I don’t care if you have 15 of them, on your person, they should be thankful you’re shopping there. No excuse for treating you that way. Absolutely none. The customer must always be given the benefit of the doubt. So because they’re incompetent, you’re called a liar and refused the merchandise. Sickening.

Louis Vuitton ARE canvas! They’re really doing themselves a disservice by pushing the leather stuff too much and trying to move away from their own identity. Nobody gives a s**t about their leathers anyway; not really, let’s be honest here! If anything, they should be putting more effort into their canvas and using it as a strength with all of the incredible and inventive things they could do with it. Bollocks to them, Dacob. i’m so sorry this happened to you!! this might just indicate a bigger problem with lv’s system as you alluded to. instead of resolving the problem, they decided to cover their own behinds and push responsibility onto the customer. hopefully you can eventually get this resolved 🙏🏼 this is inexcusable. i can’t imagine this is how they treat a loyal customer of 10+ years.

This reminds me of the awful treatment Romina got at chanel. I'm not in the income bracket for this things but I love your collector's passion and story telling, what still find baffling is the poor customer service you get when buying bags that worth as much as my car 😵‍💫.
