When I went to Germany I found this tickets machines very complicated. Everytime I wanted to purchase a ticket it came with the 120 Euro ticked. It was an absurd. I always had to ask someone to help me. I would suggest the same system from Brisbane where you just tap the card when you board and when you leave the public transport and the system calculates the distance you have traveled and simply discount from your card. Very easy.

Mine Frau und ich visit Germany 3 times since 2014 and we were to visit in August but thanks to carona we can not.
I have visited Germany now 4 times.
1991, 2014 2017 and 2019.
I like your easy German show very much and it is helping me understand German.
I have also studied German here for almost two years.
I am an author and am writing two books on German transport in Berlin in Hamburg.
My German is OK but when we visit I can walk into a supermarkt and speak completely German, I can understand about harf of what a German says but I am not good enough yet to speak back 100%.
I like your videos very much and also the videos from Trixie and Dana.
I did have trouble when we visited our friends in Regensburg, they speak perfect English but I found it very hard understanding German in Bavaria.

Also if you all are going to to germany or europe for that matter, its important to know the concept of "Entwerten" kind of literally means to devalue a ticket you just bought, in regional trains if you have a paper ticket you have to insert the tickets into a machine that punctures a hole into them, and then you get on the train but remember to keep your ticket still. (not every train station you do this most of the time an employee on the train punctures your ticket). But Fahrkarten entwerten is more common on Trams aka streetcars, and inside the street cars you place your ticket inside a ticket machine and then remember to keep your ticket still.
