So, you can also set it one amp clean, and other with effects? So your loops and a solo could have a different sounds and not choking each other on one amp?

I'm debating between buying a RC-1 or a RC-3. Keep in mind that I'm a beginner thats getting into looping for the first time. Are there any specific differences between the two? Is one supposedly 'better' than the other? Battery life? Ease of use? Features- etc?
If someone has the time and knowledge to let me know, please do.

Listened to about 30 seconds of Mr Joe Robinson. Wow. Planning yo head over to iTunes as soon as I finish practicing. Wow! What a talent.
And the looper is pretty cool too. I've got the tc electronics ditto right now. It's nice but very limited.
I'm not sure which I need first a new looper or a drum machine. Anybody know of a basic drum pedal for around $50? Thanks

I bought an RC2. I liked and used it a lot. I even trusted it enough to use on a gig. Then one day it just died. It wouldn't record or play any audio at all. Also, if it went into an amp with even a bit of distortion, you could hear audible clicks corresponding to the tempo of the internal metronome: even with the metronome volume completely rolled off.

Even though this is a nice little promo, I won't buy another boss looper any time soon😕.
