New Goblin event active but..... here's what you need to know

This event is by far the most disappointing one. With the previous NMD goblin events I could at least target farm NMDs, but this event makes you wander around like an idiot and you have to compete with other players.

"Hordes of goblins" I spent two hours in Nahantu and what I experienced there was a lot of riding around and not very many goblins. Even with low expectations, Blizzard seems to slide under them when it comes to these events.

Great tips on farming gobs! I found that the goblins also tend to spawn another so that is a huge plus. Hoping they add more gobs in a hot fix to make it more a event.

I have killed well over 30 goblins and had a total of less than 5 ancestral items drop. Pathetic!

How about 2 mythic caches for Xmas instead of relying on RNG. Some people will be blessed, some will get a lump of coal.

I have to say that this event is kinda lack luster .... especially compared to the goblin event that happened last year... the spawn rate was higher and I loved that the goblins would drop treasure bags instead of loot which made it easier to run around hunting them... however I do like that its a community event and the goodie bags are pretty nice... especially the undercity tributes which are so freaking hard to get otherwise! I honestly have yet to get anything really useful off the goblins minus the boss mats which IMO are the best things I've gotten. Its frustrating when you run around in helltide and don't encounter a single freaking goblin... >.<

The event is fine, you dont have to compete with other players like some are saying. Unfortunately people just like to complain and say everything d4 does is bad.

I killed 2 goblins in 10 minutes and got 3 star greater affixes and afterwards everything else is less than stellar

I’ve encountered quite a few goblins, I’d say at least 20 within 30 mins of gameplay. And I farmed the world boss to spawn more, it was avarice, I was able to spawn 12 goblins just from fighting him. So I guess that makes 32 goblins within 30 minutes, but my question is when do we get the resplendent spark?

They can't even properly organize a simple event., based on s7 PTR experience I can say that s7 will be a complete repeat of previous seasons nothing more. I don`t even mention the nerfs that will completely destroy fun, especially for sorc, some crap uniqs will not save the class

Oh and everytime one spawns, at least one more will spawn, sometimes even 4 will spawn. Ive been killing like 30 goblins an hr at least.

You have to use a !big map! during the ride then it is possible to see goblins nicely at the distance.

Ride around Nahantu and you will find lots of goblins. You will be swimming in boss materials.

I did 2 helltides today for favours, and incidentally found 5 pairs of loitering goblins for a total of 10. Good luck out there.

Only playing for 3 days so far this season and this event has been great for gearing and at paragon 200 started an alt and the gear is super helpful also, not sure why so many people complaining, I've literally killed hundreds of goblins already with little effort going out of the way just by playing the game
