I had just Made Sin (Odogaron Dual Chain Blades) and was worried of fighting Xeno'jiiva without the element, this video helped me realise how useless it is to make hidden element weapons

Who else thinks this whole hidden element shit sucks? If your weapon has the element in its description it should already have it activated.

Also guys remember you can also get that in decorations its called a RELEASE JEWEL (hope this helps)

6 years later and this ended up being really helpful. Crafted a mr rank weapon with blast yet noticed i suddenly stopped procing blast. Wish the game would tell you these things cuz there was genuinely no way to know. Idk if it's the same for skills that are obtained from decorations cuz I'm also having the same issue where when i equip decos when i go to my actual character skills it will show them but say not active next to them or the box will be hollowed out

But I'd wanna ask, if am using CB impact phial with hidden element(such as diablos tyrannis 2), if I activate this skill, would my phials still do impact damage or does it changed to elemental damage?

Ok so I'm completely new to monster hunter world & I know very little about it, still learning. I'm just wondering how do I even get better gear & a weapon with the elemental damage? Can I get it to help with the anjanath? Or is that too early

Do you have to keep the armor on to draw out the element damage or can you put the armor on, activate the weapon, and then put on your other armor?
