"...we're picking up the pieces on the ricochet.." Unsurpassable lyrics and music! This was a very Marillion!

Steve Rothery is so underrated. He’s a Guitar God.

"We reached ignition point from the spark of pleasantries." One of my all-time favourite lyrics.

Beautiful song... Pete is the master and holds it all together. Makes it easy to see why they are so well respected in the music community. Thanks for posting this!

This video and audio quality is amazing! I would have loved to see them live together with Fish. This is simply stunning❤.

Ah, the Holy Grail. As far as I know, this is the only visual footage of Jigsaw live (and IMO Rothery's best solo) from around 1984. Steve looks so young (about 25), lithe, super-cool, and an old head on young shoulders. This should be the definitive footage of him from that era, if only for the massive fuck-up of Fish coming in a bar early. And Steve is partly to blame by playing his solo the wrong way round, as it were. For fuck's sake man. Ah well, we're blessed to have this just as it is.

the singing is close to studio! love it when a band sticks to the studio version in terms of instruments and sounds. some bands do this better, some not. this performance is really close.

Pretty sure Fish comes back in for the last verse several bars too early. Love the way the rest of the band just goes with it though. Only spotted it cos I must have listened to this track several hundred times!

I wasn't aware that Luke Skywalker - in addition to his outstanding lightsaber skills - could also play the guitar so sensitively.
