I absolutely love these stories of timeslips and for the most part they are usually just settings that the slipper sees, and then after an unpredictable period of time it changes back. But it’s the one that the slippers are engaged with by the old setting peoples that are the scariest to me. As if it’s so much more than just an image, but they actually traveled back in time. So fascinating!!!

I wonder, what happens to those people that never stepped back. And where are those people that stumble into our existence?

"Retrospective clairvoyance" is a perfect description of the time slip phenomenon and perhaps some ghost-sightings, too.

And yet, there is sometimes an interaction with the vision. Could this be because the people in the past who notice them are likewise accidental clairvoyants?

I also wonder why these visions are so often characterized by silence or limited sound/sensory input beyond the visual.

Obviously this is all wild conjecture, but I hope such thoughts are welcome within the liminal space created by these anecdotes.
