In this Video Phil takes us through a step by step check of every aspect of the home to ensure the buyers are receiving it in optimum condition, and in the condition it was in at time of sale.

The most important thing to check is the major appliances to see if they are in working order, as these would be most expensive to fix if not in the condition required. Following from that, check that all lights are switching on, not only checking the light bulbs but also the electrical work throughout the home. Then doors, windows and any other moving parts of the home.

Once a final inspection is completed and everything comes back satisfactory to the buyer under the contract then settlement proceeds where the buyer takes ownership and possession of their new home.

An important step of the process when buying a property for any purchaser, but more importantly for first home buyers who have never been through this process before.
