Moral lesson of today is to never trust anything that came from tik tok

Re-traumatizing families for financial gain is deplorable. This guy probably sleeps well because he has no conscience to bother him.

I love seeing people who take advantage of vulnerable people, lose everything. Really makes my Cheerios go down the right tube.

He tries to look professional with his spiffy suit and everything... But the pichachus and Evee hiding behind his shoulder just make it that much harder for me to take him seriously.

I’m a licensed therapist and the whole time I was watching this I kept thinking “kinda seems like this man is having a manic episode and convinced himself this is real” and then bam, the PI said it for me.

2:23 "he created a true crime series on TikTok and he is now trying to raise money from those viewers for a travel app"
Truly a big brain move

Even the Pokémon plushies behind him look disgusted with him. They’re probably the ones that made him “apologize “

Gosh I've heard of this. Horrible clout chaser wanting money, leading on families who have lost their loved ones and preying on the dead.

Definitely a manic episode. My friend had one and had a very similar train of thought—she believed the CIA had sent people to follow her and try to kidnap her, and she had to uncover the conspiracy herself. Hearing him talk, the “delusion of grandeur” that he’s at the head of this investigation…it all seems like that, and I hope he gets the help he needs.

When he started talking about how good the company was, even though they fired him, I instantly was like, "Yup, he's obviously still invested in them." It was funny in the last video, where he was like... I can't do the investigation thing AND the money/app thing anymore... I have to choose one.. so I choose the money, but I'm really dedicated to the investigation! Then he gets fired and goes back to loosely referencing the investigation again.

Another reminder of why Im sick of these tiktok detectives!! They literally ruin lives within seconds with little to no reason/evidence

People feel so comfortable scamming and lying. Does no one have a conscience? Or even sympathies? I worked myself to the point of burnout and quitting because I was a people pleaser and couldn’t say “no”. I would feel immense guilt to call in even if I had valid reason. I just can’t imagine being thoughtless and careless. (Would be nice sometimes tho 👀 )

I can believe they fired him. This whole situation presents a huge liability risk. He absolutely intended to talk about his app in the midst of everything, but I'm pretty certain it's not because he was "exposed" that they fired him. They celebrated because they thought it was harmless, but I'm sure an attorney brought it to their attention.

I love how he suddenly decided to wear a formal suit for the apology video 😂

This is just a gangstalking delusion. Guy's gonna come out any minute now talking about how he's a "targeted individual."

my best friend was offered a ride while in another city she went to in order to get help for her mental health, and was abducted and sex trafficked for 9 months before escaping.
to be a first hand witness of this type of cruelty and the effect it has on the victims and their families makes it even more real for me how these families must feel seeing some dude on tiktok turning cases like this into a way to push his own image. he's taking advantage of really vulnerable people. i know if i myself or her family came across someone online spouting anything related to "solving" a case in the particular city she was went missing in before she escaped, we would've done anything to try to find her and it would've really given us false hope. i'd really like to believe he didn't intend for this, and has some mental health struggles of his own and may have just gotten carried away in his own delusion that he was actually "solving" the case, but the inclusion of his app makes it feel so deliberate. i hope those who have lost someone due to similar instances and were hopeful due to the virality of his videos find some peace and answers through real resources who can hopefully help them.

It's crazy to me how much nonsense people will buy if you sell it to them with confidence.
