Tutorial: #Gimp #1 - Manual Seamless Texture

This is a simple Gimp tutorial that shows how to modify a texture to be a seamless. This video is just a bonus for users that works with textures in 3D modeling applications.

Most images are easily made seamless if you use the gradient tool in the proper place and amount. The paint tool is for finer detail control. Once I figured this out it literally took me less than a minute to get a seamless texture.
Also when using the gradient tool, to check for seams, switch to the original layer and it will hide the marching ants from obstructing your view.

intro is a slightly long, but it really does make an important message that paying for textures isn't worth it and is better to just learn how to make your own original textures instead.
