After, James gets into the headlines including an update on the gas pipeline hack and a marriage proposal using a biscuit from an unnamed fried chicken chain.

---
Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

James: "I'm trying my best."

Nick: "Are you?!" 😂🤣

He needs to be a main character now.

I just love how Tim on the guitar always looks like he accidentally wandered on the stage, has no clue what's going on but finds it absolutely amazing!

I couldn't have cared less about this show pre- covid. But the chemistry between James, Ian, the band and crew is incredible and now I watch every day. I don't even care about the guests. I could watch the banter all day long.

I don't even know what this show is any more, but I am so here for it! Best late night show by far. I used to look for Stephen Colbert when I woke up, but this is my first choice now.

Watching The Late Late Show is like watching a sitcom about late night shows.

This is the only channel where I actually read the YouTube comments, and it just adds to the monologue experience :)

I've grown to love this show so much over the last few months! This new format is everything. And, yes, we definitely need to be praying for Nick's sanity 😂🤣

Rob used to be so tame and in charge and now that nick is back in the studio he’s messing around as well

The biggest anticlimax to happen to me today is an ad starting in the middle of the news jingle

40 seconds in and already poor Nick is stressing! I know it shouldn't be funny to watch someone be so uncomfortable, but this entire ongoing bit is too funny! 🤣

I just love everything about this. It has a "Seinfeld" kind of vibe. It is a show about nothing, lol. If you watch the making of Seinfeld he and Larry David insisted on doing it their way despite what the network said. They only cared about being comedians and being true to themselves. They said, "We don't care. We will go back to being comedians in New York and forget doing a show." And we saw what happened there. This show also has kind of a Howard Stern show vibe in that all of the crew are involved personally and it is kind of politically incorrect at times. Its like a reality show about creating a show. It is heart warming and refreshing. The thing about James is that he has an innocence about him. An authenticity that we all can relate and respond to. He and the whole crew are obviously good friends and care about each other. James makes it feel as if he is just one of them. These guys could take this show directly to the internet and kill it. But it is makes it funnier that it is on a major network. And even better that it is on late late night. I love when James says things he is not supposed to and then just like a kid says, "Why? Why am I not allowed to say that?" He is so endearing. Add the accent and all his britisms ("Los Angeleeze, " "I'm in bits, I'm in bits!" The three piece polka dotted suit, etc.) and it can't be duplicated. He has talent for days and has a great sense of comedic timing. Do not change anything about this. Or if you do change it let James lead the way. He is like that kid in school who was bullied and teased because he was a bit overweight and a theater geek who is now absolutely killing it. I love the addition of Nick to the show. He and Rob make the perfect "parents" to the unruly group. I never write a comment this long on YouTube but I cannot get enough of James and the crew and the uniqueness and hilarity of this show. Love the New York accent btw. James nailed it. :)
