Finally a benchmark test that includes the RPCS3 emulation for the 13th Gen.
I am still using the i7 4790k, i can roughly see how much fps i can get with my RTX 3060 if i were to go with this CPU upgrade.

I really love your channel and style. You do great comparisons and illustrate your examples nicely. Having said that, the comparison of the CPUs in games was a bit difficult to read when watching the vid. They go by fast and the fading transition makes it difficult to focus on each statistic. The graphs you use with the other ratings are great because the statistics are represented so graphically that they can be immediately interpreted. Very nitpicking of me! Otherwise keep up the great work mate 👍

I think this is the first comparison I've seen of the 13th gen middle to the 12th gen best, and interesting to see how they stack up. Thanks

Excellent review Rob. I'm really excited about these new CPUs. I just hope Intel can improve battery life a bit when the mobile versions come out.

Nice. How about Yuzu/Ryujinx (Switch), PCSX2 (PS2), Xenia (XBOX360)?

I wonder if SFF and air cooling is dying out. Maybe we might see mini-itx MB's again with mobile CPU's again? Like my old AMD fusion itx board.

Does this max cpu result continue when playing for a long time?

I paid around 300 dollars for my i7-7700 back in the day. i5s are now close to 500 dollars?

13600k is all you need if you are a gamer with a 4080 super and 4090 because most with these gpus will be utilizing the highest of settings in 1440p and 4k and at that reosolution there is a difference of 1% on average.

There will always be some slight bottleneck with either on these monster gpus. So save you some money if you are a gamer 😉.
