The 13700k is on sale for $379 at microcenter. Definitely going to save some money and pick that up over the 13900k

Been telling everybody if you game at 1440p ultra or 4k ultra just get the i5 13600k its perfect. Pulls less powerr easier to cool. Just the best budget cpu on the market imo.

i5 13600k is simply a best with is price! when the gpu is under load the difference with the i7 and i9 is around 1-2%.. great job intel!

I feel like the value for the i5-12600k is awesome compared to the i7 and i9. Also there will be holiday deals that will put the i5 into the $200 range. I am looking at getting a 7900xt and I was considering getting the i7 but it would break the budget a little so for me I feel that the 12600k will cut in for me in 1440p gaming without any bottlenecking for the 7900xt.

You should have run the test with default motherboard settings and XMP on, instead of setting the clocks the same.

it’s actually a huge difference! when you look at the number of fps you’ll notice it’s lower on the i5! it doesn’t matter that you can’t actually see a difference at f*cking all

Not sure why you had to test the games on "low settings" like we'd need that information. I suggest just testing the maximum settings. That's what we're here for.
