I think wallet, keys, phone is going to be a given these days but on top of that I also carry a knife and flashlight. I used to carry a large Sebenza and an Okluma DC1 but since I no longer commute, or do anything outdoors really, I switched to a Victorinox Compact and a Muyshondt Aeon MkIII. I know the flashlight community likes to hate on Muyshondt but it works for me.

Shard might be the most useful pocket pry, but i found it to be really pokey. Replaced it with the leatherman brewzer, equally cheap but lays flat on the key chain, but unfortunately does not work quite as well

Tried the shard a couple of years ago. It was pokey and a pocket shredder. Switched out to a doohickey for about a year, but still pokey. Recently swapped that out for a 58mm Victorinox alox mini champ. It’s rounded and has more tools in a tiny package, and when I don’t bring a knife with me, it has a blade.

Great video, Ron! If I had to slim down my carry, all I would need is my phone, my keys, & my wallet. My phone & wallet cover my expenses & intel, while my keys have my Gil-Tek multi-tool/utility knife, and a Rovyvon flashlight (super high quality too), and of course regular keys. I tend to open boxes a lot so the Gil-Tek covers a lot of bases and I really only need the occasional peek in the dark.
