He's right. We didn't connect with the slogan when Trump ran the first time because we didn't know when it was great. It left room for the media to make it racist. I love and appreciate this guy for pointing that out. I never thought about that and I'm black. I totally understand his point of view here. It just hadn't occurred to me. I personally think the eighties were great. MTV was brand new and we had really great music on the radio!! At the same time we lived in fear of a nuclear war with Russia. Maybe the slogan is a rally cry for white supremacists who prefer blacks in chains!! That's possibly a time in history when whites considered America great!! It's a very good point he's making.
