Jewel weed is great at countering stinging nettle as well typically it grows right next to nettles.

So, possibly an idea to keep some dish washing liquid handy, if you’re planning to come in contact with PI…?

I bring blue Dawn dish detergent. It's taken me 40 years to learn how to identify it, but now I can kinda avoid it. I am so sensitive to it I can catch it on a windy day. If I am going to be near any wooded area, or when I shear my sheep, I bring the blue Dawn! The orange and green just don't get it off me as well as the blue stuff does. Oh, and I can always tell if I got into poison ivy or poison oak by how and where the rash presents on my body. Facial swelling and tiny blisters? Poison ivy every time. Larger blisters mainly on my arms, sometimes my face? Poison oak. P.O. tends to not hurt just itch like crazy on me, but those small swollen P.I. blisters hurt badly especially when they scab over, as well as itch.

Broadleaf planting works pretty good too if you're in a Gravely type area

I get it so bad. Took me a long time to be able to identify it. I found a great product called Tecnu which you use in the shower to get rid of the oils.

Virginia creeper is similar, some people actually react to it the same or worse than poison ivy (me being one of those people lol) but I didn't know about the other plant to get rid of the oils! I usually run inside (if possible) and scrub down with dawn dish soap when I know I've been close to either PI or VC.
