I've been lucky enough to hear Leon live twice when he came to play for the local Music Society in Northumberland. The most recent of these was 13.10.2022 and Leon played Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert with encores by Mendelssohn and Grieg. An honour to hear such a great pianist live. Credit to Leon for performing at the smaller venues, and reaching those who perhaps can't afford to go down to London for concerts. Leon is surely Britain's top classical pianist now. I remember him winning the piano section of Young Musician of the Year back in 1990, so impressive and probably deserved to win the whole competition. He seems to have a very wide repertoire and to be able to capture the essence and soul of all the different composers he plays. Deserves many more subscribers on here !

Mr.Leon McCawley, SO GREAT, MAGNIFICENT AS ALWAYS, Thank you for all these 24 wonderful Chopin's Preludes Op.28 in your outstanding performances, they are really gems, but I play only several these pieces, although I'm planning to learn more of his Preludes (certainly the Prelude No.16 it's beyond my abilities unfortunately and this Chopin's Prelude No.20 always depresses me), of course, my BIG "like-thumb up-upvote"29 for your GREAT VIDEO, lately often I listen to your playlist "Relaxing Piano Music", all 15 soulful very beautiful performances (Chopin/Schumann/Schubert/Rachmaninoff/Mendelssohn/Gal/Grieg), really your channel it's my musical revelation, so perhaps too many of my comments(?), as every day my friendly heartfelt greetings from Poland, have a nice Sunday.
